Triad Residential Solutions’ co-owners, both with experience working for the County Board of Developmental Disability, couldn’t understand why existing providers found it so challenging to provide quality services while placing the individual at the center of every decision. Posed with the question, “If it’s so easy, why don’t you do it?”, Triad Residential Solutions was born.
Founded in 2001, Triad Residential Solutions currently serves more than 150 individuals, and employs over 140 employees between two offices in Maumee, OH and Grafton, OH. We serve individuals with Medicaid waivers in Lucas, Medina, Lorain, and Cuyahoga counties.
Triad Residential Solutions believes in an inclusionary approach involving the individual, their family and friends, guardians and advocates, county board support team, and care staff. This method allows for valuable input encompassing all aspects of an individual’s care. The individual we support receives the freedom of choice, support in achieving their personal development goals, and respect for their changing wants and desires. In order to fulfill this philosophical belief, Triad Residential Solutions has established a comprehensive training program for all staff. Before being eligible to provide support, our team members undergo background checks, must achieve First Aid / CPR certification, receive training in accordance with Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities standards, and complete client-specific training.
In addition to the provision of disability services and supports, Triad Residential Solutions seeks to promote community involvement and inclusion. We constantly seek out opportunities, events, and outings in the communities where our individuals live and work, allowing us to offer enhanced choices. We are thankful for the community connections we’ve established that allow our individuals to both experience and afford a range of activities.
